Provide its members and other EU companies with general and specific information regarding any developments that has an influence on their operations in Korea.
   
Organize business missions for Korean central and local government officials to EU member states and to EU companies.
   
Organize business missions or official visits for EU companies, particularly SMEs or EU member state officials to Korea.
   
Maintain contacts with high ranking government officials from the European Commission as well as from governments, trade organizations, local business associations and other lobbying groups of EU member states.
   
Provide breakthrough solutions to EU member states and Korean local governments for more efficient bilateral industrial cooperation such as promotion of investments, transfer of advanced technologies, partnership, industrial seminars, and etc
   
 
 

EU has been trade partner of Korea and positively affected on Korean economy in terms of FDI. In 2009, FDI from EU represents around 47% of total inward FDI in Korea, about 9 Billion Euros.

EUKICD plays the important role as the investment promotion agency collaborating with Korean central and local governments for investment promotion mainly focused on Greenfield sector for the free economic zone, free trade zone, and government funded industrial complexes and clusters.

We have known to facilitate foreign investments such as French Food Company DANONE in Muju Jeollabuk-do and Netherlands Vaccine Company called BERNA BIOTECH in Incheon free economic zone.





Recently Korean government designated EUCCK as the Europe investment promotion agency for Foodpolis, the only food cluster in Korea located in Jeollabuk-do. EUCCK plays driving engine role for attracting European food companies into Foodpolis. EUCCK will do its utmost support and cooperate to successful completion of cluster and to make foodpolis the hub of food market in Northeast Asia. EUCCK will lead foodpolis in success by promoting it aimed at the renowned food companies in Europe and also establish the database of European company in food industry and selects key target companies for attracting investment.
